Found! 8)
The weekend is closing in and every child with divorced parents pack their bags. Julia and Martin, both 11 years old, are tired of constantly travelling between their respective parents. When they meet at the airport they get the opportunity of a lifetime.

They trade places and engage in a journey that will forever change their lives. At first both children feel major relief. But slowly it becomes clear that you cannot live another person’s life. The children have to reveal their secret and confront their own problems.

What a disappointment!!!

A story about a girl and a boy pretending to be each other, the possibilities are endless and coming from Sweden I would have expected much more. Even the storyline was Americanised rubbish, seems to be the norm across Europe these days

ok, there is an interesting side to the story when the boy develops a relationship with a very cute blonde girl, if the director had focussed a little more on this relationship and added a little realism it could have gone somewhere, but he didn't

Rich's judgement is a bit harsh. Amanda Davin is really a cutie.

For people not speaking Swedish, here is the Italian version...at least for abel, that should help...

Thanks idler for waking up this thread! It suffered by not being added to since the DVD was available, there are subs around now. For one, (unverified)
http://www.opensubtitles.org/en/subtitl ... r-retur-en

If I recall, aliptes posted his rip with subs on Usenet long ago, I think I have a copy somewhere in case that link's subs don't work. But they almost certainly will.
