[REL] La vie est un long fleuve tranquille (1988)

from Imdb:
Two babies are switched at birth. When the mistake is discovered 12 years later, it leads to complications in the lives of both families. One family is affluent, with dutiful and (apparently) contented children. The other family is poor, with rambunctious (even delinquent) children, often hungry, but with lots of laughter in the house.
If this film hasn't been posted before, I thought there may be some interest for it. I'd classify it as a boy/girl/family kind of movie.

Valérie Lalonde is one of the main characters and appears often. :icon_1idiot

WOW!!! I haven't seen or thought about THIS movie in years!!

I had that exact VHS that you have pictured, and it got ruined with a lot of other VHS movies I had because of an excessively humid house I used to live in... (I've actually STILL got the movie, but the tape itself is completely covered with mold... :wall )

I remember it being a 'quirky' movie with very 'French' humor; which has always seemed more drama than comedy to me... ;) But Valérie Lalonde was cute, indeed!

Though I wasn't very impressed with it, I'm excited NOW to download it so I can see it again; if nothing else, but to see Valérie one more time!

THANKS terry666 for posting this one!! :bigups

kev.

Sure - I post some obscure film and everyone loves it. But when I post a classic, no one says anything. Blah! :icon_rolleyes Thanks for your comments. They are appreciated!

Hi Terry

I am very interested in classics as well as FLM, if you don't feel appropriate to post in a normal forum, why not put them in the "of lesser inetrest" forum.

I was just kidding around. I mean who hasn't seen the Parent Trap? What a lame post! Anyway, I'm about to post something I think people are really gonna like...

Some of the English subs for this movie I found on eMule were fake, to save you the trouble I verified these as real:
