Not strictly TV announce but I felt this was only place to tell you about this excellent series. It is available in full (s01/02) on Lostmovies right now, and boy is this entertaining for adults/children alike - in fact a little dark for young children.
Basically, an evil would-be taker over of the earth reduces a group of would-be saviours to tiny zoo creatures (toys) using magic. Marnie (schoolgirl) happns upon this zoo in a shoebox (hence the tiltle) and finds she can speak to them. But she does not entirely trust them. By now, the evil one has discovered that Marnie has the only beings which can prevent him from taking over. The rest is the different stories. there are also several subplots involving Marnie's circumstances etc.
Highly entertaining, acting very good, ingenious idea, and all set around a schoolgal - what more do you want ??
No on-topic scenes so this is for those who enjoy good children's TV programmes, or want to record for their own.
