Someone unknown was nice enough to capture the first episode, edit out the commercials, and post it to Usenet last Friday (alt.bin.mm, alt.bin.tv, alt.bin.mm.teen-idols). They posted it as a 1.2GB MPG though, and it hasn't made it to eMule yet (probably because of the size). So I used AutoGK to reencode it to a more normal size for a 42 minute show:

There are 10 teams competing against each other for a cash prize plus the opportunity for stardom. Each team is a child plus a parent. Some of the parents are outrageous and controlling, putting pressure on their kid... "you have to beat those other kids so we can buy the house we want!" After one episode it looks like a lot of the humor will be coming from Bonaduce, the talent evaluator they have guest starring, and the parents; the kids are there to be super cute and to give us someone to feel sorry for.

Thanks, any further news on the other episodes, I would actually enjoy watching this

I was hoping that some "scene" group was capturing this and releasing it in small AVI form. One did, but unfortunately only 2 episodes made it to Usenet where I could grab them. Other were posted to a file download site but were deleted before I found them.

But I did manage to get full 1.1 GB MPG versions of the missing episodes from Usenet, which I converted to 350MB AVI. Here's the complete series.
