O.K. I - MIGHT - have it working. It says I have low ID. How often should I check to see if any progress is being made?

That depends on how obsessive you are and how much free time you have. You have heard the expression "a watched pot never boils", right?

(Note, if you have low ID it will not suddenly change with time, so I was assuming you were asking about the progress in downloading the file.)

I remember deadman as having HighID and high bandwidth speeds and sharing his files forever, and I also have HighID and started resharing the same file a week ago when you posted. (So far I have uploaded 6.22GB. I am also helping share ghost's file.) With at least two people with HighID online most of the time, you should be able to connect to that file if your eMule is working at all. If you do not need to use your computer and need to do other things, go away and do those things with the computer on and eMule running. This is a large file and will take hours of downloading. Emule is NOT like MEGA with large files that can download in 15 minutes with a good connection, sorry. With a known shared file like this, If emule does not seem to be working at all after (I dunno?) 6 hours, then start investigating, reading, and posting in the eMule Help forum here. If you do manage to connect, then it is just a matter of waiting.

I have tried and tried and had no luck getting eMule to work, so I am now trying to use MEGA. I have copied the MEGA link for the movie and gone into MEGA (which I already had installed) and put the link in. It seems to have accepted it. Now what? Are there any other steps that I need to take, or can I assume it will now download? Crossing fingers...

EDIT: It just said something along the lines of I reached my limit, and I have to wait 5+ hours before continuing. This is because I'm using it for free. If I just go ahead and wait, will it eventually all download? I don't mind waiting.

Also, it let me download 5 GB worth of the file, and it seems to have a max of 20 GB. How big is the "Emanuelle's Daughter" MEGA file? If it's over 20 GB I may have to pay to upgrade in order to get it all.

Create your own mega account, then import deadman’s file into your own mega account/cloud storage and create a „share“ link from which you download it from

If you don't mind waiting, it is worth a try! I would like to know if that works within MEGA itself. I do know that when Jdownloader gave me a "Limit reached" error, I quit it and did not wait.

I have also used the method recommended by goku in the post above on different files, and it worked for me. After I was done downloading, I deleted the files from my MEGA account so that I could have the storage space back.

"Emanuelle's Daughter (1980).NTSC.DVD.iso" is 5.57Gb.

It is very exasperating that MEGA seems to suddenly be imposing these limits. I am sorry you are having such troubles!!!!

goku33 (or anybody), could you please walk me thru the steps of importing a file into my mega account/cloud storage? I apologize for asking, but evidently I'm not bright enough to figure it out on my own... :wall

You're telling me! :crazy

First the zippyshare links I've been maintaining for years are all gone, then MEGA decides to get super cheap at the same time. Just a few weeks ago I was able to download a full bluray image from MEGA. Now I get that damn "509 Bandwidth Limit Exceeded" message with any large file. They did something like this once before but after a month or two they backed off from it. Let's see what happens this time.

I'm not going to bother uploading anything large if people have to pay to download it. Bunch of moneygrubbing cash whores! That was the whole reason I picked MEGA and zippyshare in the first place - high speeds, no premium account bullshit, users could get the files for free.

Walter, I really wanted to take you through the steps so I went through them myself, but you can see from deadman's post that Mega is NOT behaving like it used to do. It is preventing free downloads of files larger than 5Gb. I suppose we can upload a series of 700Mb RARS, and do up to 5Gb at a time with some time delay and/or VPN server change in between, but that does not help with THIS file!

Just importing a file to your Mega is easy:
Spoiler:

1) Login to your Mega account in your browser.
2) Copy the Mega link you want and open it in another tab.
3) Instead of "Download", click "Save to MEGA" button in lower right corner.
4) In the popup, choose the folder you want and click "Import".
It only takes a few seconds to import the file to your own account, because it is just creating a link within the Mega servers. The problem is, it is not allowing us to download beyond 5Gb on a free account. I even tried using the MegaSync app and it crAPPed out on me too.

Now if someone can demonstrate a currently working technique to get around this while using a free account, GREAT. But do not assume that what worked before with Mega will work now. I am afraid that just is not so.

Walter, if you can get eMule working with even LowID then you can get this from deadman. Emule questions can be posted here: viewforum.php?f=69

Thank you. I appreciate all your help.

UPDATE: I got them finally thanks to Night457, via a different method (Uloto.net and pornfile.cz). Thanks to Night457 for the solution, deadman and Ghost for posting their great copies, and everyone who made a suggestion or otherwise helped! :icon_1dancingban :icon_1dancingban :icon_1dancingban :icon_1dancingban

For some off-topic bad news:
Spoiler:

Coming July 25 from Severin Films (U.S.) is the 24-film, 13-Blu-ray set "The Sensual World of Black Emanuelle".

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-Sens ... ay/337369/

Announcement & set details: https://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=32523

BUT it DOES NOT feature this film, "Mavri Emmanouella" / "Emanuelle, Queen of Sados" / "Emanuelle's Daughter" / "Emmanuelle, Queen of Sados".

AWWWWWWWW!! As the IMDB Trivia states:
This is one of several films made to cash in on the success of the Black Emanuelle film series created by Bitto Albertini and continued by Joe D'Amato and Bruno Mattei. Though the film stars Laura Gemser (the star of the Black Emanuelle series) and she plays a character named Emanuelle (Emmanouella), it has nothing to do with the photojournalist character Emanuelle from the original series.
None of the "real" Black Emanuelle movies have any FLM interest, so maybe this movie ought to be kept separate anyway. But I am not sure if all the movies in the upcoming set are "real" Black Emanuelle movies either. About half of them I have not even heard of.
(Short version: most Laura Gemser "Em" movies will have blu-ray releases, but NOT this one. Ha ha!)
