Exactly... posting a DVDRip when another is available only makes sense when the film merits a 2CD version or somesuch.

What I would ask though, ghost, is that you check your DVD for English subs, and rip them if they are there. They definitely exist, google shows lots of film festival screening with them. But I don't know whether they have ever been released on DVD.

Thank you for the thread bump, I am interested in the movie too. Unfortunately I did NOT find any available subtitle source, or even higher quality rips. I found streaming dubs on upsized rips and downloaded what was on eMule. I was HOPING for a DVD5 that I could get, but no luck. If so, then I could OCR German DVD subs from that to text SRT subs and anyone could have fun with their preferred translation machine. And of course a DVD5 is better than a rip... and I need to fill up my hard drives with many large files ASAP.
