A toddler boy finds himself orphaned in the jungle when a bloodthirsty tribe murders his parents. Soon, an ape adopts him and raises the child as its own. Ten or so years later, our young hero begins realizing he is somehow different from his gorilla family and sets off on a quest to better understand why. Eventually he meets up with a boy from a local tribe out to prove his manhood, and these two have a number of adventures together. Half way through the film, the lead becomes an adult, finds himself a wife, has a son. Twelve or so years after that, a hunter wishes to entrap this jungle family yet isn't going to be able to do so with a fight. Sound familiar? It should. This is Spain's attempt to do Tarzan, the key word here being "attempt." Low-budget and silly but rather entertaining if you have a six-pack nearby.
