Sherina is no weeping wallflower or casualty of a bully: she takes crap from no one! Frequently funny, this musical did not overwhelm me with nonstop songs -- there was actually a plot to it, involving kidnapping, and the story was given the room to breathe. Of course the true villain was still given the chance to sing about how deliciously evil he is, just like in Disney movies.
