The search function in this place runs just fine. It only accepts one keyword if you dont't connect the keywords with "AND"; so if you put in "man in the moon", you get all matches with "man" in it, i.e. 439 hits, and the movie you are looking for hides on page 9. Better take the seldom used word "moon"; the result are 37 matches on one page. Since it is an old post, you may have to scroll down... of course, you can put in "man AND moon"; 10 results, no scrolling...lol :icon_secret
Try this under United States... see if you get 4 results.

I got 11 results. :)

In case what idler said didn't get through, the search function here works best if you provide just one keyword.

I.e. search for moon. Narrow the search to forum 'United States'. :clap

If you got 11 results then apparently what I said didn't get through. I put the above results in 3 times, and 3 times only returned 4 results. Now what that tells me is there is nothing wrong with the searcher, but the search function apparently differs between members.

Sigh. (Sorry, Debaser!)
I simply don't believe in boards discriminating you, Amadeus.

The forum list in the search function matches the forum list in the main board. When you scroll down, you have to make sure to mark the first United States = [REL] United States. "The man in the moon" gives 79 results, and you have to go to page 2; well, "man" is an often used word in the US. "moon" alone gives 11 matches.

If you scroll down too hastily, for example by clicking into the sidebar, you'll be marking by fault the second United States = [REQ] United States. That gives you 4 results, but probably not the movie you are looking for. Of course, you can repeat that several times having the same result... :wall

Thanks for links Idler. RFF was offline when I posted info so I was not able to check and know different movie titles. Anyway, for avoid porn, I always check before posting.

Often with unsearchable titles such as this one a detail such as an actor's name or the director's name will bring up a hit.

Thanks for the tip, FLL and idler. :) I was looking to see if there were any subs and got totally baffled - the forum just pinned it's ears back and acted mulish.
