A man and his pregnant wife take a vacation to a small island. When they arrive, they find the seaside town basically isolated, that is until they witness a young girl club an elderly man to death! Soon, it becomes apparent that the local children are being influenced by a force not too fond of adults. Can the couple escape before the tykes manage to do them in?

A very suspenseful film that had to have influenced the "Children of The Corn" series..., and which is far superior. A very interesting motivation for the kids' behavior is offered. Note: this is the most complete version of this very rare film available.

A couple of English tourists rent a boat to visit the fictitious island of Almanzora, just off the southern Spanish coast. When they arrive, they find the town deserted of adults, there's only children who don't speak but stare at them with eerie smiles. They soon discover that all the children of the island have been posessed by a mysterious force or madness which they can pass from one to another, and which makes them attack and murder their elders, who can't defend themselves because nobody dares to kill a child..
