Manhattan Baby AKA Evil Eye AKA Eye of the Evil Dead AKA Il Malocchio AKA The Possessed (1982)
A mysterious woman gives a strange pendant to a little girl; the pendant turns out to have evil powers that eventually dominate the girl's personality and threaten the lives of her family and everyone else who happens to cross her path. Sounds simple enough, eh? Well, in the way Lucio Fulci presents that premise (a series of loosely connected scenes), it borders on incoherence. And then there's Fulci's annoying infatuation with close-ups of eyes....But the climacting attack sequence is well-done (for the time) and the film at least is better than "The Awakening" and less disappointing than "Poltergeist" (due to lower expectations). (**)
Well, it's not the best Fulci movie i've seen, but it's not that bad, i rather enjoyed it. And the girl is cute, that is a big pluss.

LewisCarroll, why don’t you start a discussion in the appropriate forum regarding what we all look for in a movie, and what we each deem to be an appropriate movie submission?
Your good with the poll postings , and I think it would make a good and hopefully friendly debate.
