Bastard Out of Carolina (1996)

Difficult tale of poor, struggling South Carolinian mother & daughter, who each face painful choices with their resolve and pride. Bone (Malone), the eldest daughter, and Anney (Leigh) her tired mother, grow both closer and farther apart: Anney sees Glen (Eldard) as her last chance.

Rated R for strong depiction of sexual and violent abuse, including a rape scene involving a young girl.

Its got OT scenes coming out of its ears, granted not to everyones taste.

Jena Malone is amazing in this, god knows how she wasn’t traumatized for life after some of the scenes, maybe she was?

as requested i ripped from my original vob file.
a couple of choices this time. let me know what you think. one for slower pcs and one for those of you who use up converters (ps3) or fast graphic cards.

Here's a kind of upgrade. This version is in 720p, not true HD, but better quality than the DVD-Rip. Dubbed in english and german.
It's running with 25fps, so it's about 5 minutes shorter than the DVD.
