14 year old Lyanka Gryu stars in this two part series about a girl who's been posing for one particular painter from an early age, and now on the verge of womanhood wants to take their friendship to the next level.

This is just the previously linked full DVD. I made my usual slight modifications so the disc loads straight to the main menu when you open it, no BS. Other than that it's untouched. I wish there were subtitles, you get the general idea what's going on but I'm sure I missed a lot of the nuance. If anyone can find a set of subs for this please post them!

Here are direct links for those who prefer that method or can't use eMule for whatever reason. All I ask is that if you're able to use eMule, please unrar to your shared folder and seed this for a while. Every source helps. You can still burn an .iso file to disc while it's being shared. It won't interfere with the recording process.

Thanks deadman.
Yeah I checked the old disk again and indeed the old menu only loads the first half of the movie so wrongly authored !

I am convinced I must be somehow wrong because 3 members agree that there is a problem with the ulozto DVD5, but I am going batty because I just can not replicate that problem! I go straight to the menu every time and it plays both parts.

I know it is absurd for me to complain when things work RIGHT for me.

Maybe your operating systems are too advanced for the file, and the only way it works properly is to roll back to my Windows 8.1? Not that I would recommend that.

jeezus all this...
I checked and it does play part 2 after part 1, but I have never run into a DVD where it does that while not showing the full length of all parts combined. I guess That's a feature of dvd's I did not know about or something.

Edit: And oh now i remember why I don't know this. I looked in the .IFO in text editor and it's binary so I never looked at how the titles are laid out. Guess I know more firmly now that the .vob names can be deceptive and not related to the actual title / playlist layout, but I sort of knew that already aah

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh! I have seen those occasionally in actual physical DVDs as well as some DVD.ISOs or VideoTS folders. It at least makes sense here because apparently this was broadcast on TV in two parts, and there are complete closing credits for both parts. They are separate "titles".

Sorry I obsess over inconsequentials!

Wait, you played the actual VOB? That frequently makes freaky playback for me, because sometimes (rarely) a VOB change is in the middle of a scene. That is why I Play the entire outer folder.

Actually, what I REALLY do is use MakeMKV to transform the DVD into MKVs, and I almost always leave out any special features. I only play the DVD to review what the full content is before I decide what to leave out.

Something was wrong with the "original" disc (which had clearly undergone some reauthoring). I made a small change, editing a startup command to jump directly to the main menu. It seemed to fix things. Of course PGCEdit and VOB Blanker, the two pieces of software I usually use for this kind of thing, often repair common reauthoring mistakes automatically when you change something. That's probably what happened here.

I've also run into problems on DVDs where they put in those bad Russian dubs - not an issue with this one because the movie is native Russian. But when you remux the .vob files to remove that dub track the glitchy behavior of the disc goes away. Obviously some of those releasers are sloppy with their reauthoring.

If you open the .iso I posted in Windows you can use the old program DVD Decrypter to extract the .vob files for each part.

You have to into Tools --> Settings --> IFO Mode. Look on the left where it says File Splitting, and select None from the dropdown menu. This prevents it from giving you a file broken up into multiple parts like they are on an actual DVD. You just want one big .vob for each episode.

Maybe I should've posted it that way in the first place, as two .vob files rather than the disc - which is probably more trouble than it's worth.

I was confident that whatever YOU did with disc reauthoring that the results would be good. I was just confused because I could not see what the "problem" was with the original disc, because it worked for me.

Before I came to FLM I did not even realize that a DVD could be reauthored to add in another audio track. I only had experience with REMOVING portions of a disc to make it smaller. I have only added more audio tracks to MKVs.

Hey, I have that old thing! I use it in the rare cases when I rip a disc, because I know it removes any copy protection.

I vaguely recall that setting to create one big VOB rather than multiple partials.
