[REL] The Littlest Horse Thieves (1977)
The Littlest Horse Thieves (aka, Escape from the Dark in European release).

Featuring the very lovely and talented, Chloe Franks:

It seems odd to me that Rarefilmfinder has no references to Miss Franks on site. She did alot of quite notable film work in the early to mid 70's, and was very lovely, indeed.

Thanks again for digging these up.
Loverboy loves a challenge! I can just imagine him rolling up his sleeves and rubbing his hands in glee.

I've got this, a 1CD version. If noone else has it in the meantime, I'll release it when I get back on eMule (I've had it turned off the last 6 weeks). I've also been spending only about 1% of my normal time here, which hopefully will change soon.

Can't believe it. would've sworn we'd already seen this long time ago.
Anyway thanks!

Anyway, moved to [REL]. Thanks Hieronymus for pointing out that we were missing this lovely film. I've had the DVD for awhile and would have released it had I realized..
I'm a Chloe fan too! Like Charlotte G. she had an odd loveliness about her in her youth.
She pretty much dropped out of films in her 20's, and in the mid-90s was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. However she's married now and has "become a highly regarded campaigner for better employment and education options for people with disabilities. She is Director of Leadership Programmes for The Disability Partnership and, in this capacity, has advised both private companies as well as government departments." (Quoted from imdb) Best of luck to her!
kev.

(The Charlotte part, not the Chloe part.)
I know I risk the wrath of the Charlotte G. fans on the forum (they are LEGION), but I've never fancied Charlotte-the-dog-faced-girl in the least. She looks like a very plain, sullen-faced, adolescent boy with boobs. And to compare her to the incomparable Miss Franks ... why, that's just CRAZY talk!
How could you compare this ...

or this ...

or this ...

[Mark Lester included to demonstrate that even real boys can be prettier than Charlotte.]
... to THIS?!

Why, even TROG agrees. (And he doesn't just grab any little girl and haul her off to his cave, let me tell you!)

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I rest my case.

P. S. The IMDb date of birth for Chloe Franks is incorrect - she was born in 1964, not 1959 (which would have made her only a year younger than Mark Lester, which she clearly was not).

Bad seeded, makes no sense sadly.

LOL Made my day. Couldn't agree more.
willow: if this is his release, there will be very few sources. Patience is the name of the game.
