[FYI, Drew Barrymore's picture on the DVD packaging was purely a marketing ploy.
She had one brief scene, and was never onscreen again.]

A very odd film. This is very much a boy-movie, all focused on the young protagonist, Gus (Jordan Christopher Michael, who turned 12 during the filming of this movie). I thought he was rather wooden throughout, but he's a cute kid and has nearly 100% screen-time. All that aside, I liked this movie enough after seeing it on cable that I picked up a DVD copy when it was released. And, for all you "boobie" fans out there ...
(I'm giving you fair warning ...)
(Don't look if you don't wanna spoil it ...)
(Remember, you can't "unsee" it once you've seen it ...)

A ten year old boy gets tired of life with abusive parents and cashes in his piggy bank and steals a Mustang. He rides off into a surreal America playing "Motorama," a game sponsored by Chimera Gas Company. He has various encounters with different people, and eventually reaches the Chimera Gas Company where he finds they are not playing by the rules of the game.
