Great movie, one of my favourites, did the blu ray ever reach ed2k?

Maybe? This 1.86 gb "BRrip" is UNVERIFIED, found in an emule search:

As it has Spanishsub, I guess it may not be the Criterion blu-ray (which has English subs) - but it could be a remux with the Criterion as the source. (Or the French blu-ray. Or the Japanese.)

And there is this 1.5gb supposedly 1080p file, again UNVERIFIED:

I am sorry, the ed2k link I shared (with an "Unverified" warning) turned out a failure. It was only 720x304 resolution, which is nowhere near blu-ray quality.
I have edited my previous post to reflect this new information.

After I download the uloz file and check it out I will report back.

I downloaded one of the English files from here: https://www.opensubtitles.org/en
... and timed the subtitles to that 1080p download from Uloz using Subtitle Workshop (it has a handy tool to select the first and last dialogue time and fixes everything inbetween!). Think I've spoiled the ending of the film for me now - making a sacrifice for you having subtitles. Oh well, I have subtitles now!
If the SRT file is named the same as the file (before the .mkv) then the file will auto play in VLC.
If you want to mux it into the mkv I recomend MkvMerge GUI.

Thanks! Even those here who know how to resync subtitles often find it difficult (eyesight, hearing, etc.), so posting it when you have it is always appreciated.

Think I've spoiled the ending of the film for me now - making a sacrifice for you having subtitles.

That is why I no longer mind taking a long time to watch a download, and the fact that I am forgetting things quickly. Spoilers are no longer much of a hazard!
