The Candy Shop is a thirty minute film about child sex trafficking. Jimmy Balcom’s new job selling newspapers is a godsend to a kid working hard to help his family survive during the Depression. But then Jimmy figures out what’s happening in the candy shop across the street. And he is confronted with a choice that no twelve-year-old should ever have to face - giving his family a better life, or keeping his soul. Doug Jones stars as the Candy Shop owner in this original film from director Brandon McCormick of Whitestone Motion Pictures in conjunction with the Doorpost Film Project.

Thanks guys! But could you clarify... do the linked files include the actual complete film? Which one? It's not apparent from the way the files are named.

"Main movie" does not necessarily mean "complete film", hence my question which BLT answered. The word "trial" in the filename suggested to me, wrongly as it turns out, the possibility it was one part of the whole. The fact it was a flv and extras were mp4s was also curious.

This film was really pretty well-made for a low-budget short. There is no "OT", there isn't even any direct reference to sex, but the message is pretty clear. "A Fairytale About the Sexual Exploitation of Children". Worth a watch. Thanks gillesvolta and BLT.
