Капитан Джек aka Captain Jack

Crappy Google translation from http://www.video-kids.ru/?m=film&id=1238 ...

Striped vest, a large cap with a "crab", which slips over his ears, but Captain Jack was not upset - even better that no one can see from the dreadlocks under his cap. And the guys who play with him, unaware that they commanded a girl named Jack, who loves the sea and ships. One day she met a man who told the children about the exploits command ship "Alert" during the war. In the living of the whole crew there were only two - a new friend Gene, Uncle Mitya, and her father, Gunnar. The girl did not know what is really Uncle Mitya - her father, who long ago left his wife and daughter. And then, when her mother was difficult, and came to her aid Gunnar. The arrival of her ex-husband's mother made Gene think: is it time to tell the girl the truth?

... And Captain Jack decided to save the derelict "Signal", which is going to put on the scrap heap. And the guys are gone ship at sea. Difficult they had to, if not help Uncle Mitya, miraculously found himself at the ship. The ship returned to its original location, but the games children forced adults to remember the heroism of the crew "signal". Hard to say goodbye to Uncle Mitya and his daughter, he became a close and dear, but his conscience tells him that now he has to leave forever.

Kino studio Riga - original Latvian name: Kapteinis Džeks

The same girl Inga Mickite as "Beauty" in the film Grazuole

Zhenya, small tender girl, lives with her mother and (step)father in Riga. He do not know, that her true biological father lives separtely.

She appears in the port in boy cloathes using name Capitain Jack. She affiliate to group of port boys; they try to save small scooner from scraping by taking it from the port. But there come storm and both scooner and children are endangered. The homeless appears to be in underdeck, and he helps childern to save themselves.

Zhenya (as Capitain Jack) affilitates also with port homeless, her true father. Finaly, Zenya'a parents recognises, that this homeless is her true father, but ask him not to say about it Zhenya. So Zhenya never get to know, who is her true father.

All is accomplished by the war story from the time of WW II, where participated both Zhenya's true and step fathers and the scooner,
