Amidst the loneliness of the Lower Havel Flatlands, one of Germany's last bird resorts, 12 year old Lea lives alone with her father Lutz, a passionate environmentalist. Lea yearns for company, so her father, who becomes more and more withdrawn from the world, becomes a problem. Lea's mother left both of them without any explanation shortly after giving birth, a traumatic loss that still impacts the lives of both father and daughter in the present. On one of their crane-watching excursions through the woods, they find a newborn baby. They save the child, and this experience deeply shakes their lives, especially when a frightened young woman – the child's mother – shows up at their home. Seeking shelter, obviously troubled, and still guilty. While an investigation runs its course in the neighboring villages, spreading unease among the villagers, the old wound in Lea's life breaks open, and she is faced with the one question that is essential for her: why did my mother not want me?

Thank you to everyone for sharing!

This is a rundown of the different versions I have downloaded. I am interested in Dernando's torrent version, but so far the uTorrent page is stuck on "Finding Peers" and "Loading Content". I will edit this post later with additional information if I can get that file.

Of the files I have, Ghost's HD Pixeldrain link has the best video. It DOES have a burned in "1 HD" watermark. Also, there is a "Glitch in the Matrix": footage repeats at 25:46-26:23. This is apparently a broadcast/recording issue.
Simple Specs:

Code: Select all

General : Die Zeit der Kraniche (2010).HD.mkv
Format : Matroska at 3 450 kb/s
Length : 2.15 GiB for 1 h 29 min 7 s 374 ms
Video #0 : AVC at 3 021 kb/s
Aspect : 1280 x 720 (1.778) at 25.000 fps
Audio #0 : AC-3 at 448 kb/s
Infos : 2 channels, 48.0 kHz
Language : de
Ghost's DVB-C Rip eMule file in the first post has a burned in "einsfestival" watermark. It does NOT seem to have any glitches.
Simple Specs:

Code: Select all

General : Die Zeit der Kraniche (2009) DVB-C Rip.mp4
Format : MPEG-4 at 1 615 kb/s
Length : 1 022 MiB for 1 h 28 min 31 s 295 ms
Video #0 : AVC at 1 500 kb/s
Aspect : 720 x 576 (1.824) at 25.000 fps
Audio #0 : MPEG Audio at 111 kb/s
Infos : 2 channels, 48.0 kHz
There is another eMule file linked at the bottom of this page.
It is called "Die Zeit der Kraniche 2010.mkv" and it is a PAL-DVDrip.
It is identical to the video that extracts from another eMule file, "Die.Zeit.der.Kraniche.2010.MOViEiT.rar". (Not linked.)
The video is 388p high instead of 576p high because the letterboxing is cropped out.
It does NOT have a watermark and it does not glitch.
