Scott Jacoby, a nerdy high school youth, accidently kills a neighbor's young daughter. His panicking mother (Kim Hunter) fears the police will not believe it was an accident. She moves her son into a bathroom she turned into a secret hiding place. After her death, a new family moves in. In the meantime, Ronald has gotten lost in a fantasy world created in his own head from being hidden away for so long.
This is a made-for-TV "Movie of the Week" that gave me the creeps when it first aired. As you can see from the caps, picture quality is pretty low, probably taped directly off TV to VHS but it's the only version I've ever found (not my rip). The young girls are cute as can be, especially Cindy Fisher (do people really name their daughter 'Babs'??) who was 14 when this was released but she looks younger, so maybe it was filmed a year or two earlier than the 1974 release date.

Sorry, but like I said - unverified. The movie was obviously taped from TV so I'd be surprised if any subs didn't need adjustment. I didn't download them because I don't need them.

I forgot I had this until I saw the post today. Hope you don't mind an upgrade so soon.(if so you can delete this)
This is a nice dvdrip. Big improvement over the TV to Vhs to digital.
