The movie itself was not a flop only the money earned at the domestic box office was. Movies with big budgets have to do really well in the theater the first two weeks to make a decent return. Lots of great movies have been considered flops, but after all sales from International box office, home video, streaming and such, many of these films do end up making a profit. Let Me In did become profitable and was not by any means a flop.
