emuler wrote::( It was the same with Laura. I paid big bucks to get the DVD from videoflicks.com. Very disappointing - I have seen VHSRips that are better quality. Perhaps, like David Hamilton, this director too liked the soft focus filters.
They didn't do anything to improve the quality. They used some shitty VHS/DVD Recorder. It looks exactly like a VHSRip.

Description: A downbeat, hypnotic retelling of Mankind's story from Adam and Eve to the present, played entirely by children. But don't expect a romp -- these kids are deadly serious as they tackle issues of mortality, religion, and the struggle of class against class. Brilliant photography enhances the deliberate pacing, yet the film is never boring. Literary sources include Emily Dickinson and William Blake, and every line is delivered with full conscious intention. Especially effective is the Byzantium sequence, where a single syllable (homousios, or homoiousios) means the difference between life and death. Seldom has the narcotic influence of religious power been so effectively portrayed. The use of a cast composed entirely of children is a conceit that lends itself to preciousness, but here it succeeds without the least trace of "cuteness". In sum, a daring, challenging, and ultimately worthwhile experiment.

You mean KAD Mule, right? Considering eMule's poor performance of late, we need all the help we can get.

well, this is a ed2k forum, not Jurassic Park...

if everyone kept files shared there would be no need for rapidshare (etc) links...

this conversation has already taken place, i really don't wish to reengage...

if a file is available on the ed2k network then please don't post direct download links to it, members should use emule so as to keep the file shared (or sharing) on the network!

Am I missing something here?..............I actually thought eMule was performing rather well! But there again maybe I enjoy embracing the sharing community & can be bothered to take the time & trouble to set eMule up properly.
