This particular Legacy team is set in San Francisco in a castle-like house on Angel Island. Dr. Derek Rayne heads up the team comprised of psychiatrist, Rachel Corrigan; priest, Philip C.; ex-Navy SEAL, Nick Boyle; and researcher/psychic Alex Moreau.
While the legacy team attempts to identify mummified remains from Egypt, Kat experiences behavioral problems at her new school, which she attributes to an imaginary friend. As the Legacy's research begins to uncover the truth about the contents of the mysterious sarcophagus, a supernatural link to Kat's "friend" is revealed.
